The Foyer Rural flea market — a rural stroll through this charming Vexin village
Chérence is a typical village of the French Vexin, nestled in the wooded hills of Val-d'Oise. With its stone houses, church and quiet lanes, this village of a few hundred inhabitants perfectly embodies the gentle pace of life in this protected natural area, the Parc Naturel Régional du Vexin français. Every spring, the Foyer Rural brings this bucolic setting to life with its annual flea market.
The flea market brings together around fifty vendors — both private individuals and professionals — offering antique furniture, clothing, toys, books, trinkets and miscellaneous objects. The village-fair atmosphere is enhanced by an on-site refreshment bar and catering. For families with children, a charming afternoon activity awaits: pony rides that delight the youngest visitors. Admission is free for all.
