The May 1st Car Boot Sale in Abondant

Every year on May 1st, the village of Abondant celebrates with one of the most anticipated events of the local calendar: the grand car boot sale organized by AAPE (Association Animation et Partage d'Énergie). For many years, this spring event has brought together sellers and visitors on the Allée du Château, Rue de la Demoiselle, in a green and family-friendly setting.

The car boot sale welcomes private sellers only, from 8 am to 5 pm, at a rate of €3 per m². Sellers can set up from 6 am to prepare their stalls. Visitors enter free of charge and can browse the stands in search of clothes, furniture, tableware, toys, books, and various items.

A Complete Day of Celebration

Beyond the car boot sale, May 1st in Abondant is a true village festival. The day is complemented by a funfair animating the village streets, and by an artisan and local producers' market organized in parallel by the Abondant municipality. This combination of events makes it a complete festive day for the whole family.
