Flea market for the benefit of the schools of Les Mées

The APE of Les Mées (Parents' Association) organizes an annual flea market for the benefit of the village schools. The profits are entirely reinvested to finance school trips, educational projects, and cultural activities for the students.

A solidarity and family event

This flea market is a quintessential family event: parents, children, and teachers participate in the organization and sales. The rate of 15 euros for 3 meters (10 euros for APE members) is affordable. Registration is preferably by SMS.

At the foot of the Pénitents

The Rochers des Mées, an immense conglomerate cliff forming a row of columns over 100 meters high, provides a spectacular backdrop for this flea market. This unique natural site, nicknamed “Les Pénitents,” is one of the most impressive in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence.

Organization

The event runs from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. APE volunteers ensure the welcome of exhibitors and visitors. The atmosphere is warm, and families appreciate this friendly day in service of education.
