The major spring flea market of the Enclave of the Popes
The FREP of Visan hosts its major flea market on Sunday 24 May 2026 at the Espace Gérard Sautel. In the Enclave of the Popes, this event gathers around 100 exhibitors for a day of bargain hunting in one of the finest Haut-Vaucluse winegrowing villages. A popular event rooted in the AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages Visan terroir.
Every spring, Visan unfolds its large flea market at the Espace Gérard Sautel. On Sunday 24 May 2026, about 100 exhibitors are expected. At €10 per stand, the event attracts private sellers from Vaucluse and neighbouring Drôme. Its volume and quality make it one of the most significant flea markets in the Enclave.
Visan belongs to the small constellation of Vaucluse communes enclosed within the Drôme. Like Valréas, Grillon and Richerenches, it is part of the Enclave of the Popes, legacy of 14th-century papal acquisitions. Visan is a discreet wine capital: its vineyards hold AOC Côtes du Rhône Villages Visan status.
A modern communal facility hosting major associative events. Its dimensions comfortably accommodate 100 exhibitors indoors and outdoors. Refreshments by FREP volunteers.
Great diversity: Provençal tableware, linen, trinkets, adult and children's clothing, toys, books, vinyls, old tools, small furniture, agricultural gear, decorative items.
