The traditional village festival in one of France's Most Beautiful Villages
Every summer, Seillans celebrates its patronal festival with the bravadeurs of the Pays de Fayence. Aperitif on Place de la République, pistou soup and popular ball rhythm two days of traditional festivities in one of France's Most Beautiful Villages.
Seillans' patronal festival is a major annual event in this village listed among France's Most Beautiful Villages. Run by the town and its associations, the event combines Provençal tradition, conviviality and entertainment, in the cobbled lanes and on Place de la République.
Seillans' particularity lies in the presence of Pays de Fayence bravadeurs, who escort the procession in traditional costume with fife and tambourine. This Provençal tradition recalls the ancient village militias.
The 2026 Seillans patronal festival will be held as every year in late summer. Bravadeurs in costume, procession with fife and tambourine, aperitif on Place de la République, pistou soup and popular ball will animate this Most Beautiful Village of France.
Place de la République, Seillans village centre. Parking at village entry.
Generally late July or early August. 2026 date to be confirmed with the town hall.
