About Forest Festival La Martre
In mid-September, the village of La Martre celebrates its Forest Festival (Fête de la Forêt et dau Bòsc), two days entirely dedicated to the Haut-Var forest heritage. Woodcutting competitions, mobile sawmill demonstrations, artisan stands, workshops, concerts and children's area make up a rich program honoring the sylvicultural traditions of this small village.

La Martre is a small Haut-Var village nestled in an exceptional forest setting between the Verdon Gorges and Canjuers plateau. The Forest Festival pays tribute each mid-September to the woodland heritage of this territory.
