Garden clear-out, plant exchange and refreshment stand organized by the Brandivy festival committee
The Fête au Jardin de Brandivy is a friendly event that celebrates gardening and local life. Organized by the Brandivy festival committee, it offers a garden clear-out where individuals sell plants, shrubs, seeds, gardening tools, and outdoor furniture. A plant exchange complements the offerings with the exchange of cuttings and plants between amateur gardeners.
Brandivy is a small rural commune of a few hundred inhabitants, nestled in the Morbihan countryside between Auray and Grand-Champ. The commune, crossed by the Loch, a tributary of the Auray river, retains an authentic character with its hamlets, its sunken lanes, and its hedgerow landscapes. Rue de la Vallée du Loch, which hosts the festival, offers an ideal rural setting for this event dedicated to the garden.
Beyond the garden clear-out, the festival offers a swap meet open to all, a pallet competition rewarding the most original creations made from pallet wood, and a refreshment stand to end the day with music. Food and drinks are available throughout the event.
