Toussieu Childcare and Toy Fair

A fair dedicated to families

The Toussieu Childcare Fair brings together families from the village and surrounding area each year for an event focused on solidarity and reuse. Parents bring toys, clothing and childcare equipment their children have outgrown, allowing other families to acquire them at lower cost. You'll find pushchairs, bouncers, high chairs, play mats, as well as a wide variety of toys for all ages: stuffed animals, educational games, Lego, picture books, bicycles and scooters. The friendly atmosphere and careful organisation make it a much-appreciated event among residents of Lyon's eastern plain.

Toussieu, a rural village in the Lyon plain

Toussieu is a village of around 2,500 inhabitants in the Rhône department, east of Lyon, in the agricultural plain stretching between the Lyon metropolitan area and Isle d'Abeau. Halfway between Lyon and Saint-Exupéry Airport, the village enjoys a peaceful setting while remaining well connected to employment areas and services. Toussieu maintains a strong village spirit with an active community life, of which this childcare fair is one of the most popular expressions.
