The 111th autumn edition of the largest professional antiques and flea market fair in France, on the Île des Impressionnistes
The Foire de Chatou, autumn edition, is the major event of the fall season for professionals and lovers of antiques and flea markets in France. Held on the Île des Impressionnistes, it brings together over 320 professional antique dealers for ten days, all members of SNCAO-GA. The 111th edition takes place from September 25 to October 4, 2026, attracting nearly 35,000 visitors.
After the spring edition in March, the Foire de Chatou returns every autumn for its second annual edition. This 111th autumn edition, scheduled from September 25 to October 4, 2026, is one of the highlights of the cultural and commercial fall season for art market professionals, antique dealers, decorators, and collectors. Organized by SNCAO-GA, it brings together more than 320 carefully selected professional exhibitors on the Île des Impressionnistes, all committed to the Authenticity-Quality label that is the signature of the event.
For ten consecutive days, the public can explore the shaded aisles of the Île des Impressionnistes to discover an exceptional collection of antique and collectible pieces: 18th and 19th-century furniture, Art Deco, mid-century modern, Scandinavian design, ancient and modern paintings, sculptures, collectible silverware, Sèvres, Limoges and Meissen porcelain, Baccarat and Saint-Louis glassware, Oriental rugs, designer lighting, antique and precious jewelry, watchmaking, old books, engravings and old maps, curiosities, military items, musical instruments, and many rare pieces. A free expert appraisal service allows visitors to have their own objects evaluated.
Holding a fair of this scale on the Île des Impressionnistes is not trivial: this mythical place of French painting is inseparable from the history of Impressionism. Renoir, Monet, Sisley, Caillebotte, and many others found inspiration here on the banks of the Seine. The Maison Fournaise, where Renoir painted his famous Luncheon of the Boating Party, is now a museum that visitors can discover just steps from the fair.
The Foire de Chatou is not only an antiques fair: historically, it is also a ham and regional products fair, hence its full official name. This tradition continues: alongside the antique dealers' stands, you'll find regional ham and charcuterie merchants, cheesemakers, wine and spirit producers, and gourmet product stands. Restaurants, wine bars, musical entertainment, temporary exhibitions, and conferences complete the program.
