Military Antiques and Militaria Fair of Saint-Méloir-des-Ondes

A specialized militaria fair on the Emerald Coast

Each year in September, the association Mémoire Côte d'Émeraude 39/45 (MCE 39/45) organizes its military antiques fair at the sports complex in Saint-Méloir-des-Ondes, rue de la Vallée Verte. This event brings together about twenty specialized exhibitors from all over Brittany and beyond to offer a wide range of items related to military history: antique weapons, decorations, uniforms, helmets, equipment, period documents, and spare parts for World War II vehicles. Sellers of period clothing and 1940s-1950s reproductions complete the offer.

Saint-Méloir-des-Ondes, a land of memory on the Emerald Coast

A coastal town of about 4,200 inhabitants located between Cancale and Saint-Malo, Saint-Méloir-des-Ondes occupies a strategic position on the Emerald Coast. The area was deeply marked by World War II, notably by the Atlantic Wall and the battles for the Liberation of Saint-Malo in August 1944. The MCE 39/45 association, founded to preserve this memory, organizes this fair in a spirit of transmission and historical collecting.

The sports complex of Saint-Méloir-des-Ondes offers a covered space suitable for this type of event, easily accessible from Saint-Malo and Cancale.
