Entzheim Flea Market

A flea market orchestrated by musicians

Organized by the La Concorde Music Society of Entzheim, this flea market is one of the highlights of the village's associative life. The municipal harmony orchestra, founded several decades ago, brings this popular event to life alongside the Messti, the traditional Alsatian patronal festival that animates Entzheim every August. The proceeds help finance the purchase of instruments, scores, and training for young musicians at the music school. 200 exhibitors in the village streets

With its 200 exhibitors spread across several streets in the center of Entzheim, the flea market unfolds a huge treasure-hunting area where private sellers emptying their attics rub shoulders with professional antique dealers. Visitors can find a wide variety of items: dishes, porcelain, glassware, antique furniture, household linen, vintage toys, books, trinkets, vinyl records, old postcards, board games, tools, and small furniture. The atmosphere is family-friendly and convivial, in the pure tradition of Alsatian flea markets.

Entzheim, village of breweries and the airport

Located about ten kilometers southwest of Strasbourg, the commune of Entzheim (2,500 inhabitants) is best known for hosting Strasbourg-Entzheim International Airport. But the village has also preserved its Alsatian character with its half-timbered houses, Saint-Amand church, and vineyards. Perfectly served by road (A35 exit) and the Strasbourg tram-train, Entzheim is easily accessible from all over the Eurométropole. The very active La Concorde Music Society animates the village's cultural life with its annual concert, the Messti, and this famous summer flea market.

Refreshments and festive atmosphere

As Alsatian tradition dictates, the musicians of La Concorde run the refreshment stand and catering on site: tarte flambée, grilled sausages, fries, pretzels, Alsatian beer, and local wines. Between two finds, bargain hunters can enjoy a moment of relaxation in a musical and festive atmosphere typical of Alsatian village festivals.
