Emmaüs Thouars-Parthenay: Solidarity and Social Integration

The Deux-Sèvres Emmaüs community, based in Thouars and Parthenay, welcomes companions in precarious situations and provides them with housing, social support and activities involving the collection, sorting and sale of secondhand items. The charity sales are one of the main sources of funding for this social mission, which carries on the legacy of Abbé Pierre and the Emmaüs movement founded in 1949.
