Émancé Flea Market

An authentic flea market in rural Yvelines

Every year in June, Émancé, a small village of about 750 inhabitants nestled south of Rambouillet, organizes its annual flea market on the Salle Alfred Manessier parking lot. This event, run by the Festivities Committee and the Town Hall, brings together around fifty individuals for a good-natured day of browsing, far from the hustle of major Ile-de-France fairs.

A human-scale gathering

With its 50 or so exhibitors, the Émancé flea market remains faithful to the spirit of a village flea market: no professional dealers, no large commercial display, just residents coming to empty their cellars and attics for a day. You'll find children's and adult clothing, toys, tableware, trinkets, books, sometimes old tools, some records or tapes, and small furniture or decorative items.

Émancé, a discreet and charming village

Émancé is a rural town located a few kilometers south of Rambouillet, on the D906 towards Chartres. With its 750 inhabitants, it is one of those small Yvelines villages that have preserved their authentic character. Its Saint-Pierre church, old farms and agricultural landscapes offer a peaceful setting.

Flea markets like Émancé's are precious: they maintain an essential village tradition, promote reuse and the circular economy, and allow residents to gather for a friendly moment.
