The judo club animates the village

The Dojos des Aspres association, a judo club affiliated with the French Judo Federation, organizes its annual spring car boot sale on Sunday, April 5, 2026 in Fourques. This rural commune of 1,347 inhabitants, called Fourcatins and Fourcatines, is located in the Aspres region, a small Roussillon territory between the Têt and Tech valleys. The Fourques dojo, located at 25 avenue du Vallespir, is part of a network of four training halls spread across Trouillas, Terrats, Fourques and Thuir.

Supporting the club through bargain hunting

The proceeds from the car boot sale go to the club to finance equipment, travel and competitions for the judokas. The exhibitors, mostly private individuals from the Aspres community of communes, offer clothes, toys, books, dishes, trinkets and small furniture at low prices. Club parents help organize the event and run the refreshment stand. A family atmosphere reigns in this small village of the Roussillon plain, just 20 minutes from Perpignan.
