The great flea market of Corbie's annual Easter Fair
On Easter Monday 6 April 2026, Corbie, former Carolingian capital of the Somme, vibrates to the rhythm of its annual Easter Fair. At the heart of this multi-faceted event, the flea market unfolds on rue Victor Hugo and attracts exhibitors and bargain hunters to a day combining flea market, funfair rides, concerts, retrogaming and makers' market.
Corbie's Easter Fair stands out in the Picardy calendar: rather than a simple flea market, it bundles several events into one festive day. The flea market, run by Corbie Handball Club with the City, sits at the heart of the fair on rue Victor Hugo. Around it orbit funfair rides, concerts, plant fair, makers' market, retrogaming stand, dove release and classic car display.
The flea market takes over rue Victor Hugo, a lively central street, from 6 am to 6 pm. This duration lets early hunters find the best spots while families linger all day.
A popular multi-generational event: families for the rides, children for the dove release, retro gamers around arcade cabinets and consoles, gardening fans at the plant fair, craft lovers at the makers' market. A concert generally closes the day.
Corbie is a historic town of around 6,000 inhabitants, dominated by its Saint-Pierre abbey church, vestige of one of the most powerful Benedictine abbeys of the Carolingian era. Also deeply marked by WWI, with several military cemeteries nearby.
The Handball Club drives the flea market in the spirit of typical Picardy community markets. Proceeds fund club activities, equipment and youth team travel.
With its density of activities and Easter Monday timing, Corbie's Easter Fair is one of the essential Picardy spring events. Extend the day with the Saint-Pierre abbey or a visit to the Australian Memorial in nearby Villers-Bretonneux.
