The Spring Sale: Chauray's Charitable Commitment

Every March, the Chauray Solidarité association organizes its major spring sale at the Chauray community hall, a residential commune in the Niort metropolitan area. This flagship local community event offers for sale clothing, shoes, toys, books and small furniture collected throughout the year from residents.

An Association Serving the Most Vulnerable

Created in 1994, Chauray Solidarité operates entirely through its volunteers. The association collects donations of clothing, shoes, crockery, furniture and toys from residents, carefully sorts them and sells them at its two major annual sales. All proceeds, in partnership with the Chauray CCAS, go entirely to food and financial aid for people in need.

Practical Information

The sale takes place at the Chauray community hall over two days (Saturday and Sunday), from 10am to 6pm. Free entry. Donations can be dropped off on Tuesday afternoons at the association's premises.
