The Grigny Chaplaincy Car Boot Sale is an event rooted in the community and solidarity traditions of the area. Grigny is a commune of around 9,000 inhabitants in the Rhône valley, between Lyon and Vienne, about fifteen kilometres south of Lyon. Grigny is accessible from Lyon via the A7 motorway (Grigny exit) or by TER train from Lyon Perrache (approximately 15 minutes). The commune is also accessible via the left bank of the Rhône on the D386.
