Car boot sale organised by the local chaplaincy in Grigny, on the banks of the Rhône
The Grigny Chaplaincy Car Boot Sale is an event rooted in the community and solidarity traditions of the area. Organised each year by the local chaplaincy, it brings together volunteers, parishioners and residents for a friendly car boot sale day. Items on offer are varied: adult and children's clothing, toys, books, board games, knick-knacks, crockery, small furniture and everyday items. Funds raised contribute to financing pastoral activities, youth retreats and solidarity actions run by the chaplaincy. A popular event that reflects the vitality of Grigny's community fabric.
Grigny is a commune of around 9,000 inhabitants in the Rhône valley, between Lyon and Vienne, about fifteen kilometres south of Lyon.
