A vide-grenier at the stadium, supporting local football

Champigny-en-Rochereau is a small Haut-Poitou commune not far from Neuville-de-Poitou. Its football club, a village institution, runs a spring vide-grenier each year at Stade Guy Delhumeau. 2026 edition: Sunday 17 May.

This club-run format is a French rural classic: volunteers open the stadium, greet sellers at dawn, manage bar and catering, then reinvest profits in the club. As much a chining day as support for local community life.

Large shaded lawns, parking, changing rooms turned into bar for the day. Room for exhibitors to spread out, easy visitor flow.

Rural commune northwest of Poitiers, in the Haut-Poitou zone known for AOC wines (Vignerons du Haut-Poitou) and rolling plain landscapes. Near Neuville-de-Poitou, Mirebeau, Ayron. Poitiers 20 minutes via D62.

Tips

Arrive before 9am. Small change, comfy shoes, bring a bag. Shade around the stadium. Do support the club at the bar — that's the whole point.
