Every spring, the Couzon-au-Mont-d'Or CCAS brings the village centre to life by organising a popular car boot sale. On Sunday 26 April 2026, individual sellers and visitors come together for a day of conviviality and bargain hunting. Clothing of all sizes, toys, books, crockery, tools and ornaments: the stalls are full of treasures at low prices. An event rooted in the village's social life, also helping to rebuild bonds between generations and between residents.

Couzon-au-Mont-d'Or, a Mont d'Or village by the Saône

Couzon-au-Mont-d'Or is a Métropole de Lyon village nestled on a hillside between the Saône river and the wooded hills of the Mont d'Or. Located some twenty kilometres north of Lyon, in the same geographic area as Cailloux-sur-Fontaines, it is one of those Val de Saône communities that retain an authentic village character. Its picturesque lanes, vineyards and riverside walks along the Saône make it a favourite destination for Lyon's weekend walkers.
