Every year at the end of August, the streets of Salers are transformed into a vast open-air market for the annual car boot sale. This medieval town, perched at an altitude of 950 meters and classified among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, offers a unique heritage setting for a day of bargain hunting. Exhibitors' stalls are set up between the Renaissance turreted houses and volcanic stone facades, creating an incomparable atmosphere.

It is the town hall of Salers that organizes this car boot sale every year, ensuring a well-managed event in the village streets. Pitches are offered at a price of €3 per linear meter, and the event takes place from 8 am to 5 pm. Admission is free for visitors, who can thus freely enjoy this day of bargain hunting in an exceptional setting.
