Car Boot Sale Open Air Day — Mézangers (53600)
Mézangers (53600) is a village in northern Mayenne, located in the Pays d'Évron, in the heart of a preserved bocage. Each year, the Festival Committee organizes an Open Air Day, one of the highlights of which is a Car Boot Sale that attracts between 200 and 250 exhibitors. The formula, which combines outdoor treasure hunting with nature activities, is particularly appreciated in this bucolic setting.
The originality of the Mézangers event lies in the combination of the traditional car boot sale with outdoor activities: hikes, outdoor games, children's entertainment, possibly demonstrations or activities related to rural life. This comprehensive approach makes the Open Air Day an event of well-being and conviviality that goes beyond a simple car boot sale.
On the flea market side, the 200 to 250 exhibitors offer a typical range of Mayenne rural car boot sales: antique furniture and objects, tableware and table arts, clothing of all sizes, books and documents, toys and board games, vinyl records, tools and implements, old agricultural objects, trinkets and curiosities. The clientele comes from Mézangers and surrounding towns, but also from Évron, Laval, and even neighboring Sarthe.
The Mézangers Festival Committee, like many rural Mayenne festival committees, is the driving force behind the village's festive and social life. Its annual car boot sale is one of the events that help keep the commune alive and maintain a strong social bond between residents, which is always precious in rural areas.
Large and very well-known annual flea market organized by the Mézangers Festival Committee (Mayenne, 53), held as part of the village's communal assembly. Exhibitors set up around the church and throughout the village for a day of outdoor bargain hunting.
The Mézangers flea market is an unmissable summer event in Mayenne, organized by the Mézangers Festival Committee (chaired by Stéphane Pinson) as part of the village's annual communal assembly. It brings together between 225 and 300 exhibitors spread around the church and throughout the village.
