Car boot sale of Venoix

The Vide-Grenier de Venoix: Hunt for treasures and reuse in a friendly neighborhood

Each year in spring, the association Vent d'Ouest - La Recyclette organizes a car boot sale at the Pôle de vie de Venoix, in the eponymous district of Caen. This event, held in the Quai des Arts hall, offers about thirty stands from individuals in a warm and covered setting.

An original concept combining treasure hunting and reuse

The originality of this car boot sale lies in its reuse area, set up outside the hall. Visitors can discover:

• A sewing co-repair workshop to give a second life to clothes
• A free-access solidarity library
• A solidarity cloakroom for clothing exchange
• A bike repair workshop
• A free zone for swapping and donating

The Venoix district in Caen

Venoix is a residential district located west of the city center of Caen, known for its dynamic associative life and green spaces. The Pôle de vie de Venoix, located at 18 avenue des Chevaliers, is a meeting and cultural animation place in the heart of the district. It regularly hosts associative events and participatory workshops.

Information for exhibitors

The pitch is charged at €10 per linear meter. Tables and racks are provided by the organization. Coffee is offered to exhibitors. As the event is indoors with limited space (35 stands), it is advisable to register quickly as spots fill up fast.
