Vieille-Brioude is a commune in Haute-Loire nestled in the Allier valley, a few kilometers north of Brioude. Every year, on July 14th, the national holiday, the Place de la Croix des Prés becomes the stage for an unmissable car boot sale for lovers of treasure hunting and good deals. The event is organized by the local Comité des Fêtes with the active involvement of Janine Auzat.

A Day of Popular Festival and Treasure Hunting

From 6:30 AM, exhibitors set up their stalls on the square to present their treasures: dishes, books, toys, clothes, old tools, trinkets, and decorative objects. With around 70 exhibitors, the event offers a good diversity of stands conducive to discoveries. The day continues until 7 PM, allowing visitors to hunt for treasures at their leisure throughout the national holiday.
