Car boot sales of the Friends of the Church in Saint-Christoly

The association of the Friends of the Church of Saint-Christoly-Médoc organizes two car boot sales in the spring, in March and May, the profits of which are entirely donated to the restoration and maintenance of the church of the village. The exhibitors, all individuals, offer clothes, toys, books, trinkets, crockery, and various objects. This double date allows to reach a wide audience and maximize revenue for the benefit of local religious heritage.

Saint-Christoly-Médoc, village of the estuary

Saint-Christoly-Médoc (33340) is a small village in Bas-Médoc with about 400 inhabitants, nestled between the vineyards of the Médoc appellation and the marshes of the Gironde estuary. The village has a small leisure port on the estuary, a starting point for boat trips and a popular fishing spot. Its church, which is the subject of the organizing association's care, bears witness to the centuries-old history of this Médoc terroir. Saint-Christoly is also renowned for its estuary oysters and its Médoc appellation wines.
