The car boot sale of Forges-la-Forêt is a human-sized summer event that charms with its authenticity. With around 45 exhibitors spread around the village pond, this car boot sale offers a varied selection of second-hand items: clothes, toys, trinkets, tableware, books, tools and flea market items. The atmosphere is that of a real country car boot sale, where everyone takes the time to browse and chat. A meal is offered by reservation and entertainment enlivens the day.

Forges-la-Forêt, a character hamlet in the Vitré region

Forges-la-Forêt is a small rural commune of about 400 inhabitants, one of the smallest in Ille-et-Vilaine, located in the pays de Vitré. As its name suggests, the commune is closely linked to the surrounding forest and the old forges that once exploited the local iron ore. The village, organized around its picturesque pond, retains its intact rural charm with its granite houses and church. The surrounding forest paths offer beautiful shaded walks.
