Charitable car boot sale and flea market at the Jaï-Alaï in Mauléon-Licharre, capital of Soule
The Jaï-Alaï of Mauléon-Licharre, a major venue for Basque pelota, is transformed each year into a huge treasure hunting space. The Association pour la Bolivie organizes a car boot sale and flea market there, the profits of which support humanitarian projects in South America.
Mauléon-Licharre is the capital of Soule, the smallest and easternmost of the Basque provinces. Dominated by its fortified castle, the town is famous for its espadrilles and its tradition of Basque pelota. The car boot sale is part of the dynamic associative life of this small town with a strong character.
