Every May 8th, a public holiday conducive to strolls, the Esplanade de Fléac hosts a car boot sale like no other. Organized by the association G Contre la SLA, this charity event allows individuals to clear out their attics while supporting research against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. An initiative that gives full meaning to treasure hunting.

A pleasant setting on the outskirts of Angoulême

Fléac, a residential town located a few kilometers west of Angoulême on the banks of the Charente, offers a green and peaceful setting for this event. The Esplanade, a large area developed on rue de Belfond, allows exhibitors to set up their stalls comfortably and visitors to wander at their ease among the stalls filled with everyday treasures.

Well-organized and friendly

Volunteers from the association G Contre la SLA ensure the welcome of exhibitors from 6 am and oversee the smooth running of the day until 6 pm. Reservation is recommended to guarantee your spot, charged at 2 euros per linear meter. A catering service and a refreshment stand allow visitors and exhibitors to eat on site, thus extending the pleasure of this day of solidarity treasure hunting in Charente.
