The Car Boot Sale and Empty Your Room of Villiers-le-Morhier

Every April, the village of Villiers-le-Morhier (28130) hosts its annual car boot sale in the car park of the village hall, place de la gare. This spring event, organized by the municipality, brings together resident exhibitors from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The pitch is free for residents of the municipality, and a few additional outdoor spaces are available for €5.

In parallel with this general car boot sale, the Children's Municipal Council (CME) of Villiers-le-Morhier renews the "Empty your room" operation every year. Children attending the village primary school who wish to participate must register with the town hall. Each registered child is provided with a table inside the village hall to offer their toys, children's books, and children's clothing.

A Family and Solidarity Day

This combination of an outdoor car boot sale for adults and a dedicated sales area for children inside the village hall makes the Villiers-le-Morhier car boot sale a particularly family-friendly and inclusive event. Parents and grandparents accompanying their children can browse the outdoor stalls, while the young sellers learn the basics of commercial transactions in a supportive environment. This initiative, managed by the CME, has become an anticipated event in the village's community life.
