With 160 exhibitors, the Condé-sur-Vire car boot sale is one of the most important flea market events in the area. It attracts bargain hunters from Saint-Lô, Tessy-Bocage, Villedieu-les-Poêles, and throughout the Manche bocage. Place Auguste Grandin, the central square of the village, offers enough space to accommodate the stalls in good conditions, with a traditional market atmosphere highly appreciated by visitors.

The fact that the car boot sale is organized twice a year is an interesting feature. Condé-sur-Vire, in the heart of the Vire Gorges

Condé-sur-Vire owes its name to the river Vire that flows through it, carving impressive gorges with granite and schist walls into the Manche bocage. These gorges, several kilometers long and nearly 60 meters deep in places, are among the most spectacular landscapes of the inland Manche. They are crossed by hiking trails offering plunging views of the river and its wooded meanders.

The village of Condé-sur-Vire is a service center for the surrounding rural communities.
