Peseux is a small rural commune in the Jura, located in the canton of Poligny, between the vineyards of Revermont and the plain of the Jura Bresse. This quiet village, with just a few hundred inhabitants, comes alive for a day for this annual event. Stalls are set up in the center of the village, offering an authentic and rustic setting for hunting.

The village spirit

The Peseux car boot sale is like its village: simple, authentic, and warm. The exhibitors, all individuals, offer the contents of their attics and wardrobes: dishes, clothes, toys, tools, trinkets, and decorative objects. Setup begins at 5:30 am, and the first hunters are there at opening time. The Comité des Fêtes ensures the entertainment and usually provides a refreshment stand to accompany the day.
