Each summer, the Veterans of US Buhl organize their car boot sale in the Grand Rue of Buhl-Lorraine. This outdoor event brings together private sellers from the village and neighboring towns. Clothes, toys, books, dishes, trinkets, and everyday objects are offered for sale in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere.

Buhl-Lorraine is a small village of about 700 inhabitants located in the immediate vicinity of Sarrebourg, in a landscape of meadows and wooded hills. The village retains a strong rural character, with its Lorraine farms and its lively associative life, particularly around the local football club.
