Car boot sale of the Brochet Reinois at Trou à Tenau, Sainte-Reine-de-Bretagne, in July and August
The fishing association Brochet Reinois from Sainte-Reine-de-Bretagne organizes two editions of its car boot sale each summer at the picturesque site of Trou à Tenau. These two events, one in July and the other in August, combine the spirit of second-hand goods with the exceptional natural setting of this fishing and leisure spot in the commune.
Le Brochet Reinois is the emblematic fishing association of Sainte-Reine-de-Bretagne. Founded on a love for nature and fishing, it maintains and manages the waterways and bodies of water in the local area. Organizing car boot sales is an original way for them to finance their activities and liven up local life during the summer period. These events allow the association to gain recognition from a wider audience and strengthen its ties with the community.
Le Trou à Tenau is one of the most appreciated natural sites in Sainte-Reine-de-Bretagne. This body of water surrounded by greenery, with its evocative name, offers a bucolic and relaxing setting for an outdoor car boot sale. Exhibitors can set up their stalls in this peaceful environment, while visitors enjoy a stroll among the items on offer and soak in the beauty of the site. The combination of bargain hunting and nature creates a unique atmosphere, typical of small rural car boot sales in Loire-Atlantique.
Holding two summer editions — one in July, one in August — allows Le Brochet Reinois to double its impact and welcome a maximum of visitors during the peak tourist season. These two events, spaced about a month apart, offer exhibitors and visitors two distinct opportunities to participate in this second-hand goods event. The 5x5 meter pitches, offered at €12, provide ample space to display items in good conditions.
