The August 15th car boot sale in Pont-Scorff

August 15th is traditionally one of the best days for car boot sales in Brittany, and the one in Pont-Scorff is no exception. Organized by the OMS (Office Municipal des Sports), the event brings together about 100 exhibitors in the town center, from 9 am to 6 pm. Pitches are offered at €3/m outdoors or €4/m covered, with tables available for €8 and €10.

Pont-Scorff, former city of sculptors

Pont-Scorff is a commune of about 3,800 inhabitants located on the banks of the Scorff, about ten kilometers north of Lorient. Long known as the "city of sculptors" thanks to its many art galleries, the town retains a picturesque town center with its granite houses, its old bridge, and its flowery alleys. The Scorff, a renowned salmon river, adds to the charm of this commune where it is pleasant to stroll.

For the benefit of local sports

The profits from the car boot sale are donated to the OMS of Pont-Scorff, which federates and supports the sports associations of the commune. The event thus contributes to the dynamism of local sports life.
