The APE (Parents' Association) of Pont-de-Montvert-Sud-Mont-Lozère organizes its summer car boot sale at the town's campsite. This popular summer event, in one of the most emblematic natural sites of the Cévennes National Park, attracts both permanent residents and the many hikers and holidaymakers present in the region during the summer.
Private sellers offer clothes, toys, books, crockery, and various items in this exceptional natural setting. The campsite hosts hundreds of campers, hikers on the GR 70 (Stevenson Trail), and holidaymakers every summer, who constitute a natural customer base for this car boot sale.
Pont-de-Montvert, a village of memory and nature
Pont-de-Montvert-Sud-Mont-Lozère (48220) is a commune in Lozère in the heart of Mont Lozère, within the Cévennes National Park. The village of Pont-de-Montvert is famous for the assassination of Abbé du Chaila in 1702, which triggered the Camisard War. Its medieval bridge over the Tarn and its granite streets make it one of the most picturesque villages in the Cévennes.
Car boot sale APE Pont-de-Montvert — edition 2026
Flea market and flower market organized by the APE at the municipal campsite of Gilliaou in Pont-de-Montvert-Sud-Mont-Lozère, on Saturday, May 23, 2026, from 8 AM to 3 PM.
The parents' association (APE) is organizing its annual flea market coupled with a flower and plant market, at the campsite of Pont-de-Montvert-Sud-Mont-Lozère (Lozère, 48). Bargain hunters will find clothes, toys, books, crockery, and various objects, as well as flowers, vegetable plants, aromatic plants, and ornamental plants.
Exhibitor setup starts from 7 AM, the pitch is charged at 2€ per linear meter. A refreshment stand, grilled food at noon, children's games, and a Mölkky tournament will liven up the day. Exhibitor registration by email at [email protected].
