The big car boot sale of Sorbiers
Sorbiers, a town in the east of the Saint-Étienne agglomeration, hosts a major car boot sale each year organized by the association of Traders, Industrialists and Artisans (CIA). With 250 to 300 exhibitors spread across the Gamm'vert parking lot and Rue Louis Blanchard, it is one of the most important car boot sales in the Saint-Étienne area.
Car boot sale and crafts
The unique feature of this event is the combination of a classic car boot sale with a craft fair. Local artisans have stands under a marquee next to the refreshment stand for €20 per space. Private individuals set up in the parking lot and along the street for €10 for 5 meters, with the option to keep their vehicle next to their stand. Refreshments, food, and toilets are available on site.
