Autumn car boot sale organized by the association À Bâtons Rompus in the village of Baron, in Entre-deux-Mers
Every year in September, the association À Bâtons Rompus organizes a car boot sale in the village of Baron (33750). Private sellers set up their stalls in the village center to offer a wide variety of second-hand items: clothing, toys, books, crockery, trinkets, small furniture, and decorative objects. The event takes place in a friendly and family atmosphere, typical of associative events in the Gironde countryside.
Baron is a commune of about 1,200 inhabitants located in Entre-deux-Mers, about thirty kilometers east of Bordeaux. The village, perched on a hillside, offers beautiful panoramas of the surrounding countryside, dotted with vineyards, woods, and meadows. Baron is close to Créon, a former bastide town that forms the urban center of Entre-deux-Mers. Baron's Romanesque church and its vineyard trails make it a popular spot for hikers.
The association À Bâtons Rompus is one of the players in the cultural and associative life of Baron. It organizes various events throughout the year, including this late summer car boot sale, which is one of its flagship events. Entry is free and refreshments are provided by volunteers.
From Bordeaux, take the D936 towards Créon then towards Baron. Approximately 30 km east of Bordeaux.
