Spring flea market in Yzeure, a town bordering Moulins
Yzeure is a town in the Moulins agglomeration, located east of Moulins. With its 12,000 inhabitants, it is the second largest town in the agglomeration. Its town center retains interesting architectural heritage, with the Romanesque church Saint-Pierre, classified as a historic monument, and a set of bourgeois houses.
The proximity of Moulins gives the Yzeure flea market a large customer base. Bargain hunters from all over the Moulins agglomeration—Moulins, Yzeure, Avermes, Toulon-sur-Allier—meet on this occasion for a day of spring bargain hunting in the streets of Yzeure.
The Romanesque church Saint-Pierre d'Yzeure, dating from the 12th century, is one of the most beautiful Romanesque buildings in Bourbonnais. Its sculpted capitals, its choir, and its nave form a remarkable architectural ensemble that is worth visiting before or after the flea market.
