Village flea market during the annual Jauldes festival, in the heart of the commune
Every year in June, the commune of Jauldes organizes its village festival, during which a flea market is held in the village center. Private sellers set up their stalls in the streets and on the village square, offering bargain hunters and visitors a variety of second-hand items, clothing, toys, and trinkets at low prices.
Jauldes is a rural commune in Charente, located about fifteen kilometers north of Angoulême, in a landscape of rolling hedgerows. The village center retains its rural character with its town hall, church, and community hall, which regularly hosts local events. The village festival and its flea market are an opportunity for residents to reunite and for passing visitors to discover the area.
The flea market is accompanied by festive entertainment organized by the local festival committee. A refreshment stand and catering service allow visitors and exhibitors to cool down and eat throughout the day. The village atmosphere and free entry make this event a popular gathering for local residents.
