Flea market, car boot sale and collectors' meeting on Place Jean Moulin and in the streets of the bastide of Beaumont-du-Périgord
The bastide of Beaumont-du-Périgord, founded in 1272 by Edward I of England, regularly hosts one of the most beautiful flea markets in the Périgord pourpre. Organized by ACEB (Association des Commerçants et Artisans de Beaumont), this event brings together 200 to 300 exhibitors on Place Jean Moulin and in the adjacent streets of the bastide.
The event is distinguished by its triple purpose: flea market with professionals offering antique furniture, art objects, and curiosities; car boot sale with individuals selling their everyday items; and collections with a dedicated space for collectors of postcards, stamps, coins, militaria, and other passions. This diversity attracts a varied audience, from families to informed enthusiasts.
Strolling through the medieval streets of Beaumont-du-Périgord while browsing the stalls is a unique experience. The fortified church of Saint-Laurent-et-Saint-Front, the rampart gates, and the arcaded square offer an incomparable setting. The stalls are open from 6 am to 6 pm, allowing early birds to find the best pieces before the crowds.
The exhibitor fee is set at €3.50 per linear meter. Entry is free for visitors. Catering and refreshments are available on site, as well as toilets and parking nearby. Registration is by request for a form, with payment by check.
