The Authume Flea Market and Car Boot Sale

Every May, the village of Authume, located a few kilometers south of Dole, organizes a flea market and car boot sale around its village hall. With around 70 sellers, this event offers a friendly, human-sized village flea market experience.

70 Sellers in a Rural Setting

Stalls are set up in the parking lot and around the village hall. Sellers offer items from their attics and cellars: crockery, toys, clothes, trinkets, books, tools, and decorative objects. The rural setting of Authume, between the fields and forests of the Jura plain, adds to the pleasure of Sunday bargain hunting.

On the Outskirts of Dole

Authume benefits from its proximity to Dole, the first city of art and history in the Jura region, and the birthplace of Louis Pasteur. Bargain hunters can enjoy the Authume flea market in the morning and then extend their day with a visit to the historic center of Dole, with its medieval streets, its collegiate church, and its canal.
