Twice each summer, in July and August, the Football Club Rétais organizes its car boot sale at the Sainte-Marie-de-Ré football field. This major event brings together 100 to 200 professional exhibitors in the vast space of the stadium and its surroundings, offering treasure hunters a considerable choice of objects, furniture, and curiosities.

An event to benefit Rétais football

The Football Club Rétais, the football club of the Île de Ré, organizes this flea market to finance its sports activities and the club's operations. Volunteers ensure the setup of exhibitors from 6 am, manage the pitches, and provide food and drinks throughout the day. Coffee is offered to exhibitors, a friendly gesture that contributes to the event's good atmosphere.

Sainte-Marie-de-Ré, gateway to the island

The first town encountered after the bridge to the Île de Ré, Sainte-Marie-de-Ré is a dynamic village that combines Rétais authenticity and associative vitality. Its salt marshes, vineyards, and the large Cible beach make it a popular destination for families. The football field, located on rue du Stade, offers a vast outdoor space ideal for hosting a flea market of this scale, with parking and amenities nearby.

Practical information

The flea market is held on two Sundays each summer (July and August), from 7 am to 6 pm. Admission is free for visitors. Food and drinks are available on site. Tables and racks are provided to exhibitors, who also benefit from dedicated parking and complimentary coffee. The football field is located at rue du Stade, 17740 Sainte-Marie-de-Ré.
