Flea market and car boot sale in the park of the Château de Montgobert
Every spring, the Château de Montgobert opens the doors of its park to host a flea market and car boot sale organized by the Association Saint-Sulpice. This remarkable setting, nestled in the heart of the Forêt de Retz in the south of Aisne, offers a unique backdrop for a day of outdoor treasure hunting. The château, former residence of General Leclerc de Hauteclocque, adds a historical dimension to this friendly event.
With about fifty exhibitors, the Montgobert flea market offers a varied selection: trinkets, antique tableware, books, vintage clothing, and decorative objects. Professionals and individuals alike can find what they are looking for in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. Exhibitor setup begins at 6:30 AM, while visitors are welcomed from 8 AM to 5 PM.
One of the attractions of this event is the opportunity to dine inside the château itself, where hot and cold meals are offered. A complimentary coffee is available for exhibitors, while nearby restrooms and parking complete the amenities. Exhibitors' vehicles cannot park within the park grounds and are directed to the adjacent parking lot.
