Dominated by the Château de François Ier, which has housed the Cité internationale de la langue française since 2023, the city offers an exceptional heritage setting for this commercial event.

The charm of the pedestrian city centre

Exhibitors set up in the pedestrian streets of the centre, near the Hôtel de Ville square and the shops. The proximity of the castle and the Retz forest gives this day of treasure hunting a special atmosphere, between Renaissance heritage and surrounding nature. Villers-Cotterêts, located 80 kilometres from Paris, attracts treasure hunters from all over the south of Aisne and the north of Île-de-France.
