Brocante and flea market on Whit Sunday in Franchevelle, Lure district
The Franchevelle brocante and flea market is a popular event held every year at Whit Sunday. This outdoor event brings together private sellers wishing to clear out attics, cellars and sheds, offering a great variety of items: furniture, clothes, crockery, tools, books, toys and bric-a-brac of all kinds. The event attracts bargain hunters from the Pays de Lure region and beyond.
The commune of Franchevelle belongs to the Lure district, in the southern part of Haute-Saône, close to Héricourt and the Montbéliard urban area. This transitional territory between the Vosges foothills and the Doubs plain has both industrial and agricultural traditions, and benefits from good accessibility thanks to nearby road links between Lure, Héricourt and Belfort.
