Annual flea market and car boot sale in the village of Villette near Longuyon
The village of Villette, a small commune of 182 inhabitants in the Pays-Haut region of Lorraine, hosts its flea market and car boot sale every year. Located near Longuyon, in the heart of the Terre Lorraine du Longuyonnais intercommunal area, Villette offers an authentic village setting for this open-air treasure hunting day.
Villette covers 4.66 km² at an average altitude of 210 meters, surrounded by the communes of Charency-Vezin, Colmey, and Viviers-sur-Chiers. This village, located 17 km southwest of Longwy, benefits from a preserved natural environment, between wooded hills and agricultural land. Its traditional Lorraine stone houses and its church represent typical Pays-Haut architectural heritage.
Exhibitors, mainly individuals, offer a wide range of items: clothing, toys, tableware, trinkets, books, small furniture, tools, and decorative objects. The flea market attracts treasure hunters from the neighboring communes of Longuyon, Charency-Vezin, and Viviers-sur-Chiers, who take advantage of this day to find items at low prices in a relaxed atmosphere.
The Villette flea market and car boot sale takes place outdoors in the village streets. Entry is free for all visitors. Parking is available on the outskirts of the commune. This event is an opportunity to discover this discreet village in the Longuyonnais region and enjoy a day of treasure hunting in a peaceful setting.
