A twice-yearly village flea market in the heart of the Yerres valley
Périgny-sur-Yerres is one of the most rural and charming communes in Val-de-Marne. Nestled in the Yerres valley, it nurtures a French way of life where community traditions still hold pride of place. Among them, the twice-yearly flea market stands out as a highlight of the local calendar. Twice a year — in May and September — the village square and surrounding streets fill with stalls offering vintage furniture, tableware, clothing, toys, books, vinyl records and all manner of curiosities. The atmosphere is that of a genuine village market, warm and relaxed, where bargaining is part of the fun. Entry is free for visitors.
