The Cepoy Autumn Brocante-Car Boot Sale: The Second Event of the Year

After the success of the big spring car boot sale, Cepoy hosts a second autumn edition every first Sunday of September at the Quai du Port. Organized by the Comité des Fêtes, this event allows bargain hunters who may have missed the March date to search through treasures from exhibitors from the town and surrounding areas. With around 200 exhibitors, this autumn car boot sale has its own loyal following.

The Quai du Port, Ideal Setting for Autumn Bargain Hunting

With the first cool breezes and the emerging autumn colors, the Quai du Port in Cepoy takes on a different charm than in March. The golden September light illuminates the stalls and invites a peaceful stroll along the Canal du Loing. Exhibitors set up on the banks, offering their second-hand items in a gentle and nostalgic atmosphere characteristic of the back-to-school season.

A Varied and Authentic Offer

As with the spring edition, the autumn car boot sale holds pleasant surprises for bargain hunters: mid-season clothing, toys and board games for children, crockery and tableware, books and magazines, vinyl records and cassettes, tools, and various objects. The September back-to-school period is also an opportunity for families to clear out their closets and offer clothes and toys that have become too small.

Catering and Entertainment

Catering and a refreshment stand are provided on-site by the volunteers of the Comité des Fêtes. Entry is free for the public. Exhibitors arrive early in the morning and are placed in order of arrival, without prior reservation.

Cepoy enjoys a strategic geographical location at the gateway to the Gâtinais, a few kilometers from Montargis. Its proximity to the Montargis urban area and major transport routes (RN7, A77) facilitates access to its events from the entire region.
