Every spring, the Place de l'Église in Varennes-en-Argonne hosts a flea market renowned for the quality of its exhibitors. Approximately 80 flea market dealers and antique dealers set up their stalls from 6 am to 7 pm, offering antique furniture, tableware, trinkets, vintage jewelry, and carefully selected collector's items.

Located in the heart of Meusian Argonne, Varennes-en-Argonne is a village steeped in history. It was here that Louis XVI was arrested during his flight in June 1791. The village has a museum dedicated to this episode, as well as rich architectural heritage. The surrounding Argonne forest offers a preserved natural setting, between wooded hills and green valleys.
