Flea market and antique dealers' fair on the Place de l'Église in Varennes-en-Argonne
The Brocante de Varennes-en-Argonne is held every spring on the Place de l'Église in the village, from 6 am to 7 pm. Approximately 80 exhibitors, flea market dealers, and antique dealers offer antique furniture, trinkets, vintage jewelry, and collector's items. Entry is free. Varennes-en-Argonne, famous for the arrest of Louis XVI in 1791, offers an exceptional historical setting for this event which attracts lovers of fine pieces from all over Lorraine.
Every spring, the Place de l'Église in Varennes-en-Argonne hosts a flea market renowned for the quality of its exhibitors. Located in the heart of Meusian Argonne, Varennes-en-Argonne is a village steeped in history. It was here that Louis XVI was arrested during his flight in June 1791.
