Flea market and spring market in Sauzelles, artisanal products and hiking in the Indre
The brocante and spring market of Sauzelles combines a market of local and artisanal products with a village flea market. Organized by the festival committee, the event also offers original entertainment: hiking, bread baking in a traditional oven, knife sharpener, and blacksmith.
The Sauzelles spring market is an event that harmoniously blends a flea market and an artisanal market. Exhibitors offer local and artisanal products, artist creations, trinkets, tableware, tools, books, and second-hand items. The originality of this event lies in its heritage entertainment: a hiking trail in the surrounding countryside, bread baking in the village's traditional oven, the presence of a knife sharpener and a blacksmith perpetuating ancestral skills. A musical program completes this spring day.
Sauzelles is a rural commune of about 300 inhabitants located in the southwest of the Indre department, on the edge of the Brenne region and Poitou. The village is nestled in a landscape of hedgerows and ponds, a few kilometers from Le Blanc. The hiking trails that crisscross the surroundings allow visitors to discover a preserved countryside, rich in birds and wild flora. The festival committee, organizer of the event, passionately perpetuates the rural traditions of this corner of Berry.
The spring market and flea market are held in the spring in the village center of Sauzelles. Admission is free. Hiking, bread baking, artisanal entertainment.
The Sauzelles spring market and flea market return in Spring 2026.
