About Brocante Saint-Laurent

The Brocante Saint-Laurent is the oldest flea market in Grenoble. It is held twice a year on Rue Saint-Laurent, Quai Perrière, Quai Mounier, and Place de la Cymaise, on the right bank of the Isère. With 100 to 200 exhibitors, this emblematic event takes place from 6 am to 6 pm in the picturesque setting of old Grenoble. The exhibitor fee is 10 euros per linear meter. Free entry for visitors.

The Brocante Saint-Laurent: Grenoble's Oldest Flea Market

The Brocante Saint-Laurent is a historic event in Grenoble, considered the oldest flea market in the city. It unfolds along Rue Saint-Laurent and the quays on the right bank of the Isère, in one of Grenoble's most picturesque districts, at the foot of the Bastille and facing the mountains.

An Exceptional Treasure Hunt Route

The flea market's route is a true heritage trail: it runs along Rue Saint-Laurent, passes through Quai Perrière and Quai Mounier, and extends to Place de la Cymaise. This path along the Isère offers a superb setting for treasure hunting, with the Vercors mountains and the Bastille fortress as a backdrop. The 100 to 200 exhibitors set up along this route, mixing professional antique dealers and private sellers.

Two Events Per Year

The Brocante Saint-Laurent is held twice a year, in spring and autumn, giving regulars two opportunities to explore this historic district in search of treasures. The exhibitor fee is set at 10 euros per linear meter, and registrations are made with the Union de Quartier Rive Droite Saint-Laurent.

A District Steeped in History

The Saint-Laurent district is the oldest in Grenoble, with its half-timbered houses, its church, and its medieval alleys. Hunting for treasures in this district also means rediscovering the city's history. The antique shops and galleries in the area complement the flea market's offerings, making this day a cultural as well as a commercial experience.

The Neighborhood Association, Guardian of Tradition

The Union de Quartier Rive Droite Saint-Laurent, located at 103 Rue Saint-Laurent, is the organizational pillar of this event. Exhibitor registrations are made in person at the association's premises in the week preceding the flea market, from 3 pm to 6 pm. Bernard Malraison and his team of volunteers ensure a smooth and welcoming organization. The fee of 10 euros per linear meter allows participation in a prestigious event in an exceptional setting. It is one of the few Grenoble events that combines historical heritage and the tradition of popular treasure hunting.
